From Practice for Practice

Data excellence is anything but a commodity. Uncertainties about how best to transform one's own company into a data-driven enterprise are high. There is no blue print - but there is already a lot of experience in this area. At dataspot. we have been able to accompany many pioneers in the successful implementation of their Data Excellence projects.

Now we want to share these experiences, challenges, obstacles and successes - with all of you. Our community events always focus on different topics or industries and the corresponding customer project. With a virtual Data Excellence room, we create a unique exchange of experts where all participants can learn from and with each other. We are your host - you are the experts.

"The contribution of data excellence to the creation of ESG reporting"

In addition to the question of how established companies should significantly revise their business models in order to benefit from ESG, there are also challenges from a data excellence perspective:

- What does my ESG reporting look like in terms of number and report types?
- How do I manage to calculate hundreds of ESG key figures?
- What basic data do I need for this, is it even available?
- Is the basic data technically described and quality-assured in a SPOT?
- How many data points from how many external data providers do we need to take into account?
- Which systems does this data come from? What does the functional and technical lineage look like?

These and other questions need to be considered and resolved for ESG reporting in the context of data excellence.
